Barry Haley President and Master Plumber
Barry started his plumbing career back in 1974 under the tutelage of his Uncle Bill, a Master Plumber, in his family owned plumbing company. After working as an apprentice for four years, and attending plumbing training school at night at the union hall, he applied to take the journeyman plumber examination. After a full day of testing on all the various aspects of plumbing at the state capitol, Barry walked away with his Journeyman Plumbing License. Over the next four years he became the go to guy for all of the most intriguing and difficult projects. From commercial multi-story projects, to steam boilers and nuclear power plants. Wherever skill and quality work was required, Barry was there.
In 1981 it came time for a trip to Austin and a chance to take the Master’s Examination. The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners is renown for administering one of the most difficult Masters Examinations in the U.S. After another full day of testing, he was rewarded with Texas Master Plumber License #12178. In 1984 he teamed up with his brother Marty and started Haley Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Company, where they have worked side by side for the last 28 years to furnish quality plumbing and old time craftsmanship to the Friendswood /Clear Lake area.
